Róisín Dearg is a writer and editor. She owes a debt to her first year creative writer tutor, an avowed alcoholic with three working teeth, who once addressed a largely squeamish lecture theatre with: ‘Today you’re going to learn to write about sex.’ Conversely, she also owes a debt to her oppressively Catholic (is there any other kind?) high school, which gave her experiential pendulum the widest possible swing. She thanks the fellas for the material.
Róisín believes erotica should contain the following elements: literary stylings, black humour and feminist gusto.
